nights are coming and going and faces appear and vanish, great plans are made and rarely held up to. while that is the mode that keeps the machine running, from time to time something greater can evolve out this fast paced spare time profession. that is to say, it is a great pleasure to smooth the way for our dear friend * kleintierschaukel* and his * blue elephant*. a rare species whose origins are found in * motomia* (a1), that odd place where sticky clocks tick faster than time passes. still all confusion is lost in the calm whispering of * juliette*(a2), a harmony of strange confidence. despite all its apparent harmlessness, it needs the soothing voice of our all beloved le- onie to let its vast figure withdraw to the rivers and show the gentle nature of this * unterwassermann* (b1). back in his element all notches are smoothed out and movements unite in a rythmic flow. this is not a documentary, this is the blue elephant: * tv ende* (b2).

luise presents one of her dearest friends: with lul#005, constantijn lange shares his impressions of the mystifying nature and culture of morocco. in orange atlas, your mind travels through the kingdom, as constantijn melts together field-recordings with his unique sense for acoustic expression. the uplifting *rote nacht* (a1) reveals the contrasting energy between the tumultuous city and the silent mountain, before gently giving way to the feelings of the exotic seascape in *essaouria* (a2). delicately, yet suprising as ever, acid pauli rearranges the warm drums in *essaouria* (b1) to let your spirit rest in an imagined, green oasis, before it is completely taken away by the lightness of the seabirds in *thagazout* (b2).

it is the end of the world (again!) and laut & luise gladly welcomes a new artist to the family: on akumal ep - his first vinyl release - christopher schwarzwalder puts together four exploratory, driving and hypnotic tracks. after waking you from your slumber with >keep< (a1), >jakob< (a2) entices you to take a little ride into the sunset. on the flip side, >barely legal< (b1) easily brings you down into the night, while the hidden energy of >das ganze boot auf acid< (b2) will mesmerize you for the hours after the hours, leaving you in a place where time is of no interest.

right in time for luises third birthday, munichs incarnation of volt and watt, namely guenther lause, comes along with a very special present. the wakema ep is a three-track-voyage from the outer spaces of universe back to the very inner circuits of conscience. starting with ruka (a), an antsy techno piece, guenther seduces to enter his spaceship. soon after, hiding between space and time, loose your (b1) invites to take a bummel on planet ephraim located far outside where human awareness turns into a flock of silver bambis. finally, slowing-down wakema (b2) brings us ashore cheerfully.
