mood hut is very pleased to present a new record by ian wyatt, performing under the name local artist. hes one of the co-founders of mood hut, and you may remember him from his music on the proibito and rhythm section record labels. you may also have checked out his releases under the moniker slow riffs, including the gong bath 12inch from 2015. this wonderful record can be played at any time of the day or night and is also a great thing to play in the home or in the club. drums, bass, keyboards, as well as other sounds and outboard effects (including delay) are all present. the artwork was done by logan sturrock and local artist.

2018 repress - and here is mh017, an untitled ep by neo image. this one has been percolating for a while now in the hard drives of the hut, with tracks seeing play on the misty flyways and byways from bilbao to burnaby, saunas to squash courts. choose your own adventure with a variety of moods and grooves spread over 5 tunes.

repress 2017, jlm and chris wang started the party love dancing in 2009 in vancouver, bc, canada. love dancing, along with jesse proudfoot and chris allen’s good faith, was a formative dance experience for many of us in vancouver and an essential ingredient in the mood hut stew. the music on this disc dates from that period and captures some of the energy of the love dancing parties. we hope you enjoy it.
