with his third release of the bella avgvsta series, daniel bortz shows that augsburg offers more then its famous puppet theater. the opener don’t forget your sword provides crystal clear techno, discreetly interrupted by accented fades of an exotic theme. with rolling dub sequences, decent recurring swishes and a peacefull breaks jump in the water describes the impression to dive into the humid element. lonely soldier then provides more power again. the basic theme which is dominated by a minor tone displays an inner unrest created by the unknown that is daily lurking out there for us. the beautiful deep dub-track hide from the sun finally plays with the change of shimmering heat and chilly shadow. who does not know the feeling on a hot open-air-afternoon to take an occasional time-out from the merciless burning sun. overall this is the most personal and deeply emotional release and as we think a worthy highlight and conclusion for the bella avgvsta series.

we are pleased to present with * black hole* by meta.83 the work of a consequent defender of the art of analogue production. the soon available track * black hole* by the liebe*detail co-founder jinxed us from the very first moment and it was clear to us, that we d like to add a number of top-class remixes beside the original. for this we were able to win no one else then the tobias and borrowed identity (after his recent release on pastamusik * crack in the box ep*). the powerful acid bassline in the original version as well as in the gravity version creates from the very first moment a hypnotic undertow which seems to keep increasing throughout the track. its masterfully celebrated how to generate effective hits by carefully chosen elements and canny used effects. tobias also devote the focus in his interpretation on the acid aspect – but with more dynamics and with a higher beat frequency which will make every techno-djs heart beat faster. when carefully set tones are fading in and out this version gets a brilliant final touch. the remix of borrowed identity sounds in its structure more dirty and rough and though at the same time very fragile. a wonderful gem in pure culture drifting towards a black hole ..... perfect.

hello. this is pastamusik speaking. for more then 10 years the munich based label issues with constant inconstancy special musical tales from the underground. and since not all stories told and not all songs played and yet not all cows have returned home, we are ready to add another chapter within this tradition. pastamusik proudly presents with “collage” by macchina nera it’s first long player. the talented munich based dj and producer macchina nera already draw some attention with his first release in 2005 (under a different alias). followed by several releases on different labels around the world he finally found a solid home base with pastamusik, that resulted in a number of successful releases. so it was a logic consequence in taking the next step and to compile the highlights from his last two years productions in his first album. munich meets munich. or even better – munich meets the world. then all of the sudden tracks of macchina nera became regulars in the sets of various djs around the globe. and this is where he starts with his first album and tells with his unique symbiotic style of house, disco, techno and funk little musical tales from the cities and it’s clubs, from all night dance, glimmering dancefloors and dark corners, from big love and big dramas…..even if it only lasts for one night. and as versatile and diversified like these nights are the consistently energetic tracks, full of unexpected turns and small details that make it worth to listen a little closer enough said for now, let the music speak for itself. the album will be available in vinyl, cd and digital release, available at real record stores as well as in the digital world of internet. here comes the soundtrack for spring, summer, autumn an of course for winter. timeless! beautiful!. thank you!.kisses! your pastamusik.

if you thought in past times…what does…pastamusik – well then, here’s a short update. we had to take a creative time-out, enjoy the summer and besides of that play numerous raves and club nights. label manager was still very active during that period. between playing gigs in barcelona, istanbul, london, berlin and brandenburg, she prepared the next ten pastamusik records (or files) which will be released during the next couple of months. here we go, winters here and it’s time again for some hot music.

macchina nera an mysterious alpine character already gave a guest appearance at pam 15.5 besides the label boss anette party. now it is his turn to rev up. and you just hold his debut ep in your hand.
here the super chef mixes up what came under his nose in the last decades. house tunes, a sirens voice that even would have made good old sylvester jealous together with an ass moving groove that bring every epic-o-meter to explosion. the essence unveils the pure sou of this exceptional talent. full of love turned it all pastamusik co-workers to little creatures floating through the office on hand made hearts. macchina nera is a well known old stager in his hometown who represents the munich lifestyle and joy as (almost) no other. but – this is only the beginning. s o o n we wll be back to release a of full album of this gem-artist as well as a number of remixes suitable for all (s) ex positions. remember his name!

abusing our soft side for dub edgar 9000 gave us these compelling tracks.>play me minus three (patience vs. epiphany mix)< û what starts like a nicely arranged minimal tune bubbles and billows after a short pause up to a big ride on the acid-dub-ghost-train. at the latest when the decently deployed and gated french horn pad sets in on the second half you are completely lost. not for quick peep û but beware: danger of addiction of endless playing is definitely given.meanwhile the title >hook & bait< of the b-side rather reads like the basic principle of fishing. it really sounds like the classic principle of ambient à well almost, since in this case this ambient track is drifting along itself, underlined with a straight driving and floating rhythm fed by an earthly bassline.petri heil! (as we say in krauts-country)

jetzt hats mal wieder ein wenig gedauert dafür freuen wir uns umso mehr endlich den erstling des analog roland orchestra auf pastamusik präsentieren zu dürfen. und los geht es gleich mit >jacks highway< einem bewusst gezügelten , hoch energetischen und dabei in sich ruhenden minimal house-track - eben einem klassischen opener. die vokalbegleitung vermittelt ein gefühl von bewegung, der Überwindung von grenzen egal ob im club oder auf dem weg, wo immer der auch hinführt. give the zombies what they want da stellt man sich unwillkürlich die frage: >was wollen die eigentlich wirklich< (vom verzehr ihrer lebenden artgenossen mal abgesehen)? wie wärs zur abwechslung mal mit ein bisschen unterhaltung und wir liefern dazu gleich mal den soundtrack. geradlinig und mit ein paar schöne acid-schleifen verziert kann man bei der nummer bestimmt alles mögliche sitzen bleiben gehört ganz sicher nicht dazu.>diverse< name = programm, roland nicht name des künstlers. dem exemplarischen abarbeiten an seinem 303/606/909 (und wie sie alle heißen) analog-elektro-tierchen habe wir sehr gerne noch ein kleines plätzchen auf der b-seite eingerichtet. was sonst bei einer so schönen nummer...
