repress 2021 - ricardo villalobos is back on raum musik with his third solo single for our label. the a side is a signature sounding track that can easily be described as a true masterpiece of him and it also has been sought after already for quite a while now by the ones that have heard it. the b side is unusually straight compared to most of his recent productions and builds a great tension if you let it play for a while. it also works very well as a perfect mixing tool. we hope you like these tracks as much as we do and as for the rest we just prefer to let the music do the talking…

the ep originally released on raster-noton in 2001, it never been released on vinyl till now. and finally available again briefly on japanese label flau s raum series. new pressing now available on clear vinyl. open close open, the title of robert lippok s release, can obviously be seen in the context of daily maxims: instructions you can find on packagings, household appliances, stereo systems and other operating instructions. neverthelesss, open close open also stands in connection with making things like space and perception accessible to yourself - and therefore with the opening of a fictious memory. on this release, analogue field recordings, digital remains and cultural fragments are condensed into an accoustic space. the call of crows and door slamming noises meet looped sound pieces from a minidisc recorder and samples from a mahler symphony.

this time we present you two young talents from offenbach am main with three modular infected quirky groovin house tracks. cedric dekowski and felix reifenberg already put out some fresh music on their own imprint - hardworksoftdrink. they are working together in their studio for a long time now and developed a very own signature sound which you dont hear often these days. get ready for some funked up house!

our dear friend and oslo label mastermind federico molinari returns on raum, this time together with his mate alexis cabrera. both of them are hailing from argentina but currently are living in berlin. there they also met and decided to start this project together. these two jams are the first result now and we hope you like them as much as we do!

after remixing chupacabras the bigger man for us already in 2006 the oslo label mastermind and our dear friend federico molinari is now releasing his first solo single for our label. federico has been constantly upgrading his studio over the last two years and by this of course also has gained even better production skills. combining modular sounds and lots of effects with his own very well structured and characteristic rhythms can be described described as his new way working. we think that he is doing great and truly hope that you like his stuff as much as we do
