continuing its cosmic techno research path, subosc is happy to present the latest work from hydergine. known for his deep and dub influenced techno releases on labels such as phorma, modelisme, knotweed and ranges, he delivers two ambient influenced techno tracks with a mental and dancefloor attitude. driving grooves, pulsating synths and melancholic melodies are the main elements of the original tracks, which journey narrates about cosmic energies, self healing and mental stimulation.
the “omega point” is, at fact, a spiritual belief and a scientific speculation that everything in the universe is fated to spiral towards a final point of divine unification. “light from light” puts emphasis on the eternal and bright light of wisdom, which allows to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight. wisdom leads a person to overcome feelings of helplessness, powerlessness, anger or aggression by non-understanding of external elements and internal acknowledgement. the ep includes two immersive, dreamy, enlightening and spaced-out electro infused versions by artefakt (delsin / field records) and 2030 (construct re-form / clft).

subosc is back with the second chapter of the “organic elements” series dedicated to techno music characterized by refined ambient aesthetics. the ep includes contributions from kessell (polegroup, granulart), hiroaki iizuka (known for his works on coda records, nheoma and his appereance on tresor), drafted (soma, balans, mmaudio) and ben buitendijk (field records, oblique, mosaic).
although the tracks are clearly aimed for the dancefloor, they are also perfect for intimate listening, since the modeling approach used considers a balance between the sharpness and effectiveness of traditional techno elements with the mellowness of dreamy textures, pads and atmospheres. inspiring, mind wandering, intense and analog souding are the most suitable adjectives to descrive these compositions, in which the mixture of influences from four minds blends in a unique outcome. a must have for all the collectors and lovers of modern techno with a soul attitude.

subosc is back with organic elements. we present four rhythmically effective tracks with an underlying theme: rarefaction, dense textures and evocative atmospheres inducing a spectrum of sensations like melancholy, introspection, mind wandering and encouraging the search for the self.
we thought long about this selection, until we reached what we wanted: a collection of timeless and immersive landscapes, modeled by alan backdrop (prologue), artefakt (delsin), ben gibson (axis) and tripsolate & redundaent (nowhere).
the artwork, curated by hillary flanders, is inspired by the nietzsche’s idea of -the overman- (ubermensch), which is one of the most significant concept in his thinking: an overman should be able to affect history indefinitely, keeping on reentering the world through other people’s minds and affect their thoughts and values.
the release aims to be a must have for the lovers of techno music characterized by refined aesthetics and analog warmth, ideal to give added value to autumn moments.

subosc ltd is glad to announce its first release: the sublabel will feature a limited number of vinyl only releases during the year. from the musical perspective it will follow the same concept of the main label, which is focused on timeless detroit/dub techno.
already known for his works on labels such as clft and monnom black, well received and supported by the worldwide scene, the italian artist kaelan signs this first ep demonstrating his effort in delivering classy and timeless techno with a detail oriented attitude.
on the a side, *odissey* is an intense rhythmic techno burner filled with emotional pads, while on the b side *displace* entails a sustained-tempo detoxifying/explorative approach, with classic and detroit influenced pads. as remixers, zadig (construct re-form) re-interprets *odissey* incorporating dense and melancholic atmospheres without any groove loss, while plural (metroplex / separate skills) offers a stripped down version of *displace* with his essential signature sound. enjoy !
