the lp “the world is shit” is a radical and depressing statement by sebastian reuschel looking at the world, the society and the people living in those. a-side track “exav 2b” is a warm and deep industrial ambient track which starts rough and noisy but culminates in a rolling and dark atmosphere. “dying alone” – the b-side track – is a sample based rolling noise dream of suicide and total apocalypse.

nice price deal !!! what happens far away from pointless party spots, boring student clubs, werder bremen and the smelly station forecourt full of piss, in this beautiful, grey city next to the river? more than before, we checked the musical output of the town, listened to recordings from friends and dug the archive. back to the origin of our intention – having a platform for all the artists who surround us in our dynamic environment and structures. for the five year anniversary of zckr records: a journey through warehouses, rehearsal rooms, workshops and studios of people who create the art we appreciate and who let us look to the future with a great sense of enthusiasm.

bunker i-iii is an artefactual statement. the band tap909 deals with this fact and creates some striking material in their live shows. the songs from this ep are taken from one of these indecent moments, which are radical, noisy and unscripted – searching for an answer between all these analogue machine sounds. an answer made out of technology which technology cannot give. against the society of selfish dreamers and spine- less fools.

zckr02 is a limited release of 450 pieces which are hand-numbered and available only in vinyl. this new release is from a young and talented bremer artist named playmodul and it also marks his début on zckr records. he has been a core part of the zckr label from its birth, which has bloomed in this hanseatic city. playmodul performs powerfully both live / djsets at his favourite house/club: the zucker. his deebut single from zckr records starts with the ep canula, a wonderful dream journey between electronicfields and deep waters.
