Alejandro Mosso, aka Funzion, was born in Mendoza, Argentina in 1983. A student of guitar and music theory since he was 14, he started his solo minimal house/techno project >Funzion< in 2003. His aim is to combine the production techniques of idm and clicks and cuts with the rhythmicalbforms of techno and microhouse. The result thus far has been a tricky, warm and energetic sound that has caught the attention of highly regarded labels such as Telegraph, Sushitech, and now Alphahouse. Funzions >Stelle< EP consists of two warm, intricate, and percussive club stompers that showcase his grasp on complex rhythms and playful melodies. >Random Kisses< is a moody vocal excursion into the mountains of your imagination. A meandering track that suits open air parties as well as it does big dark discos, this is a spring season hit. >Random Love< starts out as a charming shuffley ballad, only to subtly morph into a looming synth rave monster, all the while keeping its playful and hypnotizing grip on the dancefloor.
