During their two year absence the label’s home-grown talent, namely Marko Militano and Trademarq (the production partnership of Militano and Tari Litz) have been building their reputation with releases on some of the world’s most respected deep house labels including Classic Music (run by Derrick Carter and Luke Solomon), Lazy Days (run by Fred Everything) and .dotbleep (run by Justin Long). Bananza Music was established in Boston in 2004 by George Nessis, Marko Militano and Tari Litz and quickly build up a solid reputation as one of the most reliable labels around thanks to original tracks and remixes from Brett Johnson, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Moody B, Marko Militano, Joshua (Iz), No Assembly Firm, DJ Ali and Demarkus Lewis. The label’s last release was in March 2007 and came from Trademarq.
