Bearweasel are London-based duo Dean Muhsin and Louisa Page, a pair who in less than a year have a string of singles and remixes for some of the best labels around including 8-Bit, Tsuba, Supernature, Perc Trax and Murmur. The >Sorry for Nothing EP< is build around two original recordings, >Risk< and >Many More< and also features a remix from Moon Harbours Dan Drastic. First out of the gate is the original of >Risk<, a track built around a shuffling percussion led groove. The spacious arrangement, intense stabs and low-key bassline lend a depth and quality to this cut that make it truly sublime. Simple, understated yet devastatingly effective. Next up, Dan Drastic reworks >Risk<, turning in a remix that stays true to the original whilst imprinting things with his own sound.
