Cobblestone Jazz founding member Danuel Tate is back on the solo tip with his newest project for Wagon Repair - WAG055 >Doesnt Like You Back EP< - and this time, probably as a result of spending so much time on the road with bandmates Mathew Jonson and Tyger Dhula, he is bringing it harder. Although some familiar elements from his first EP, >Pushcard<, can be found in the horns and synths mixing together to form the beds for the quirky vocoder, this five-track release comes more direct. >Doesnt Like You Back< reflects the moment on the dance floor when you realize the woman next to you is way out of your league, which we guess isnt a bad feeling as long as you like dancing with super hot women.
