Here is finally the first single from Yakine, a close member to the Eklo family. After his featuring on the hooksey vol.1, he gave us four tracks which he worked specially for this ep. Yakine explored a new sound, some more melodic and deeper works, different from his usual stuff. Captor of Sin, the main track here. We find Yakine in a more Pop dimension with the vocals. The metric rhythm is mix it up with sub and perky shuffle grooves, everything harmonized through a lead ambiance made of weird synts & pads. Then Shirp, lead from synths, the track go on in the same vibe, more excentric and percussive, rounded beat, and a slap bass, 80s funk type. On the flip, Temptation, a more singular track, a great Detroit techno influenced, with his unusual keys and some indus sounds. The story ending with Aferone, a deep and sensitive balad, overhang by a poetic piano coming and going all along. Solid and versatile 12 inch.
