The enigmatic Lory is something of a legend in his native city of Rome, where the former DMC Champion was responsible for introducing his compatriots the sounds of Techno, Acid and Hardcore with 5.000 strong raves featuring Ritchie Hawtin, Underground Resistance, Joey Beltram and LFO. His label Sounds Never Seen was the soundtrack to these raves – an industrial yet sometimes beautiful vision of Techno where Drexciya, Frankie Bones and SPK jammed in the Roman sewers.
