Terry Francis... a perennial focal point of the tech-house sound in its purest form. A sound of Detroit-inspired melodies and hypnotic bass lines impossible to resist. A sound never losing its purpose on the dance floor. These two tracks are signposts for the genre and stand out as two of Terrys best to this day.
"Free" is Terry at his finest. A seemingly effortless blend of deep, Detroit flavored chords, throbbing bass and signature South London rhythms. The contemplative spoken word and soaring female vocal are just the touches to send any club into overdrive.
"Rosie and Hannah House" sprinkles a few sounds from home over a vibe that's reminiscent of the Transmat classic "Groove La Chord" while at the same time conjuring up those magic vibes from his Housey Doings EPs of yore. A dance floor smash that would've fit perfectly on either of the Architecture I & II mix albums that made Terry a household name and took this sound to dance floors around the world.
