In doing so, the label from Mecklenburg one more time steps out of the line, since this release again distinguishes itself by a refreshing otherness. Light and easy piano plonking as well as the lascivious French voice of singer Rebecca dominate the atmosphere of ICI, while its minimal electronic groove discreetly remains in the background. A really tropical feeling evolves in the long version of this track when playful synthesiser chords give rise to the idea of a steel drum. In his remix, Mollono.Bass manages to combine the very song-orientated approach of the original with a bouncy electronic arrangement. Thus he not only creates a lot of dance floor thrust, but also provides the perfect link to rather conventional productions.
