>Lost In Love< is the first single to be taken from L-Vis 1990s forthcoming debut album, Neon Dreams. Continuing a collaborative partnership which began on last years >Forever You< single, breakthrough Bristol-based vocalist Javeon McCarthy once again takes centre stage here. Through its melodious analogue synths, infectious vocal hooks and sub-4 minute running length, >Lost In Love< in many ways serves as the ideal entrée to Neon Dreams. This is the sound of L-Vis 1990 revisiting the routes of his dance music love affair. Picking up his own theme from the original—the classic French bassline—L-Vis 1990s Neon Dreams Club Mix pushes the low-end triumphantly to the fore. Club is certainly the operative word here, feel the remixs Bangalter-esque bassline drop and your minds eye fixes instinctively upon an undulating dancefloor. The Night Slugs Allstars — L-Vis 1990, Bok Bok, Jam City — also take the floor on their version, albeit via the neon-tinged scenic route. Much like the label itself, their remix is replete with colour, difficult to define and relentlessly innovative.
