Alice Rose, the surprising and inspiring Danish musical phenomenon, and one-woman-electroavantgarde-show, has started a new project called Tiger Rose. After releasing three highly musical dream-pop albums as Alice Rose, the Cologne, Germany based avant-garde singer-songwriter has beamed herself onto the planet Techno, and shes firmly planted her flag with the Tiger Rose debut, >Food for Dreams<. As Tiger Rose, Alice works the four-to-the-floor bass drum with enough space around it to make a cinematic playground for her musical imagination. And when she pours it on, she breaks free of the restrictive corset of regular dance music. On >Food for Dreams< the Techno tracks pop to life, full of depth and groove as well as sparkling lightness. Gabriel Ananda, her long-time collaborator and friend, had his hands on the mix which makes it even more exciting. With the debut of Tiger Rose, a new imaginative musician has entered the Techno scene with the potential to inspire Techno and dance music fans alike. Listeners beware: this Tiger is going to make you move and groove.
