O*RS 1600 is the second release of the fancier vinyl-only label. The young label is run by djs and producers Filburt & Good Guy Mikesh from Leipzig. After the first EP in earlier 2011 plus a reissue in autumn featured with tracks from Good Guy Mikesh & Filburt they bring us now some new stuff. On side A we have some old hands, celebrating their comeback since 2004 named Mr. Hille & Mr. Hirsch and Lake People one of the most talked about newcomer from Leipzig. Trompeten by Mille & Hirsch is an euphoric and twinkle-toed house tune for the dance-floor. Llewellyn aka Lake Peoples It Happened is deep, veeeery deep, warm and soulful. On the B-Side there is a reissue: Echoes Of A Long Future by Metasound & Lucius14 which was released some weeks ago on the digital-only label Break The Surface. Now this organic sounding gem comes on vinyl too. 1600 is limited to 300 copies and comes on hand numbered purple vinyl
