Exprezoo Records and Rio Padice met many years ago. They grew up together and often their paths crossed. And so after Don Dragon released in 2010, Rio Padice and Exprezoo enshrine their bond with the new vinyl: H.A.A.R.P.
Since the day it was born, techno has always been "the music of the future", and its binding with the exploration of deep space has always been very strong, ever since Juan Atkins, Model 500 and "No UFO's".
Padice has got us used to a star-level raw house sound, not only with his releases with us on Exprezoo but also on Metroline, Tsuba and Bass culture (among others); however, being an old friend of ours it's normal for him to let his hidden self, named Don Kosmo, express himself on Exprezoo.
With his alternate identity, Padice reaches places he never dared to go before, discovering the farthest frontiers of his techno soul, following the push towards the future as closely as possible but without ever losing his trademark retro touch, which makes his styleboth innovative and classic at the same time.
"H.a.a.r.p." is like a trip through the darkest depths of intergalactic space, during which Padice takes us by hand in an exploration of a sci-fi future, where sounds made by metal machines can warm the listeners' hearts as if they were close to the sun, even if they are lost somewhere in the universe.
