After the two stunning Tenenement Yard albums on Eye4Eye, Altered Natives comes back on Bosconi releasing another strong three tracker ep full of pagan and mythological inspiration called >The Fates<. As the artist says, this EP was based on the Moirae, the 3 Greek/Roman goddesses who controlled fate. The Greek word Moirae literally means a part or portion, and by extension ones portion in life or destiny. They controlled the metaphorical thread of life of every mortal from birth to death, so each track as be named for each one of them.

The dark bass house anthem that opens the ep is Nona Clotho, who spun the thread of life from her distaff onto her spindle. Her Roman equivalent was Nona, (the 'Ninth'), who was originally a goddess called upon in the ninth month of pregnancy. On the flip instead on b1 thereʼs the mystical dancefloor burner of Decima Lachesis ("allotter" or drawer of lots) who measured the thread of life allotted to each person with her measuring rod. Her Roman equivalent was Decima (the 'Tenth'), while the final symphony of the ep has been taken by Morta Atropos, "inexorable" or "inevitable", literally "unturning", sometimes called Aisa) was the cutter of the thread of life. She chose the manner of each person's death; and when their time was come, she cut their life-thread with "her abhorred shears". Her Roman equivalent was Morta ('Death'). Donʼt waste your time in obvious music and have a listen to it…
