Killer new moves from the Blueprint boys...
Sales Information
With their recent collaboration as The Fear Ratio you may have been wrong in thinking that James Ruskin and Mark Broom had left t
heir earlier roots behind. Not so. As they prove those peak time club tracks are still alive and well with this latest release on Blueprint.
Here Ruskin and Broom deliver ‘Bites’ – three cuts of blistering main-room grooves. Launching with the title track, a massive bass line
immediately hits you like a juggernaut, while the stabs punctuate those tough beats to deliver the full payload.
‘D.O.D’ is a deeper affair where layers of dark industrial sounds meet an electronica-tinged landscape, whipping up into a frenzy
of complex rhythms. The pounding beats and jacking groove of ‘Nel’ completes this trio of straight-up dancefloor workouts, all
of which could have sat happily as A-side leaders.
Maintaining a variety of production sounds and never repeating what’s come before is a difficult job for any producer but these
guys seem to take it in their stride.
