Kinda Soul Recordings is finally back with a 3 track EP featuring Chet, Mnks (a project by M.Napoletano & Ksoul), Isoul8 & K.Tatham. This time the label wanna focus on the hidden sides of our past experience before starting a new phase of our little history.
"Strings of love" by Chet is an obscure sexy house track done in Dresden and hardly played by the infamous Dj Tiny back in the days. I managed to have this cdr 6 or 7 years ago and never left my bag.
"Collapsing Machines" by Ksoul & M.Napoletano is a sinister jazzy industrial track produced live in one take only at Marcello's studio a couple of years ago trying to explore many sides of our musical taste.
The b-side feature an awesome unreleased track by the reverend Isoul8 & Kaidi Tatham on keys (courtesy of Sonar Kollektiv/Neroli). Isoul8 aka Volcov is one of my main influences in the past 15 years and it still is above all because of his wide knowledge of the "hardcore" boogie scene of the eighties and not only. I'm also very proud and thankful to have Kaidi Tatham here on keys in this extremely classy deep house track.
