The Belgian Testtoon label rereleases Artificial Horizon, a track from the early 80s by the obscure English band Shoc Corridor. Glacial, driving and surprisingly modern, Artificial Horizon was one of the six tracks on Shoc Corridors debut album Experiments in Incest. Remix duties are performed by Mordant Music, who takes the original into his own universe, delivering a bubbling, industrial and spacious rework. The Belgian Bepotel takes Artificial Horizon into nu-house territory and Testtoon artist Oubys delivers a driving, modern Techno remix, heavily based on the original.
