Sales Information:
Edu Imbernon and Los Suruba are another group of young yet experienced producers whose musical maturation and growing creative ambition have led them to Culprit. The Los Angeles-based label has come to focus on this generation of artists coming into their collective stride and stretching their repertoire to fit Culprit’s high standards and LA vintage sensibility. From its first confident chords and a swinging organic electro beat, ‘Fayer’ announces its intentions as a song of strong character and personality. It continues to build layers of retro Italo-influenced basslines and brash guitar notes. The vibe is distinctly Giorgio Moroder circa “American Gigolo” with a modern twist, culminating in stunning breakdown and release that has devastated many a dancefloor. Culprit recruited two “in-house” sets of remixers for this standout track, both coming from two recent Culprit success stories. Adriatique add their patented deep swing, a killer new bassline and ol’ school vocal sample sure to please many in the groovy mood. Dirty Channels boys also opt for signature touches, like crisp classic house percussion, a snaking electronic bassline that growls and sweeps in equal measure. The remix ups the energy level as it goes along, primed for maximum dancefloor effect.
