Sporting the blistering effect of the sound systems in his native city Malmö and beyond, Chris Llopis have been on and about for awhile, making the waves in the Swedish scene.

Beside the skills to drive those wheels of steel Llopis have also started to make a name for himself as a seasoned producer. During one of his gigs for us in Stockholm, on one of our Unfokused nights, we got the opportunity to get under his skin and ask for some of his tracks. That session resulted in this EP. Two tracks from the man himself, and a remix from Calle Dernulf & Martin Halinowski's Svida outfit, whom you might know from their work on Samuel L Sessions label, Klap Klap.

With a push from the low end territory the title track, Humble Expectations, breathes life into this release and to your assigned dance floor. Both the original take and Svida's remix are pure groove bombs. Even tough they take different routes, both mixes humbly switch you into assault mode. Let the base kick.

Epic Conditions too is proper heads down music, with its dubby and somewhat darker feel this bad boy is born to blow you into a haze. Even though simplicity is the key in this track its the details and the production that gets us triggered, as with most of Llopis tracks.
