Disco Bloodbath Recordings latest is the debut solo release from one of the founders and original residents of the Disco Bloodbath clubnights, Dan Beaumont - formally of production duo Jam Factory and the man behind London venues Dalston Superstore and the newly opened Dance Tunnel. Reality Checkpoint is an atmospheric mid-tempo house chugger based around judicious use of samples and a slight dub-reggae sensibility to the groove. The original is accompanied by two alternate versions - one from Neville Watson, which pushes the track into club territory, and one from Dan himself, which strips things back, further accentuating the tracks dub overtones.
