Exclusive debut EP from the artist known as Force/Emerge, including an essential Inland Version.
Sales Information:
Force/Emerge, the mysterious rookie of the Berlin underworld, finally throws off the covers and brings us up to speed, making a bold statement with this debut on Counterchange.
The anonymous German producer has currently only produced a handful of remixes, namely for the Praterei label in 2011, and later an edgy UK-styled mix of Inland's first record on Berlin's Falkplatz in 2012.
Now Force/Emerge arrives for real with two original pieces of cinematic intelli-house. 'Lumi' blooms and matures with its dense undertones and sense of space; a unique narrative unfolding amongst moody chords marked by a classic NY house Bassline.
Continuing his foray into more powerful techno sounds, Inland (aka label curator Ed Davenport) offers his first ever remix under the moniker. Gliding into a tunnelling, hypnotic Version of 'Lumi' on the B1 - he fuses dirty analog harmonics with a custom designed volley of drums.
B2 cut 'Valo' takes on a sweeter ride in this broken beat house exploration, scattered with sound bytes, driven by emotion and attention to detail. Simply honest electronic music, with no pretense.
