Alessandro Di Maria aka Sossa is surely one of the highest representatives in the Italian underground scene. House music is his true inspiration, which has leaded him to be one of most continuous and prolific artists in the European scene. His new Ep release comes on Polluted Records with a 4 track Vinyl related to his new sound and production style. Polluted is extremely proud to present his project with a sound collaboration between Sossa and Man & Henry on bass line and percussions.
Since 1994 he begins his residency at Nove Nove Club in Riccione, legendary Sunday morning after-hour on the Italian Riviera, which left the footprint for the unforgettable sunday mornings in Italy. After much acclaimed success with top Italian clubs like Fitzcarraldo, Cocoricò, Mazoom, Kamakama, he jumps into the international DJ scene around 2001 when he began his residency spot in dc10 at Circoloco parties.... this was the launching pad that made him share his feelings and music in clubs like "The end" and "Pacha" in London, "Mint" in Leeds, "Arena" in Berlin, and many more European and worldwide clubs. In the past 10 years he dedicated his body and soul to music productions and he has also produced on different labels such as, Vinyl Club rec. La Terra rec. Minisketch rec. Deep Edition Recordings as well as on his own label Garbant Wave. He has collaborated with artist such as Clockwork, Boris Werner, Dudley Strangeways & Michael McLardy, which have all remixed his own productions, but mainly, one of the collaboration was with one of the godfather of house Tony Humphries.
In the last year he has collaborated to produce a part of the soundtrack of the last Muccino's film, the new talent of Italian cinematography. The research and combination of new, old school sounds and records selections makes of his set one of the most fulfilling experience for pure house lovers.
