In fact MK, fresh from his unstoppable UK #1 single, loved "Givin’ It Up" so much that he found the time in his hectic schedule to turn out a remix. Built around the swirling vocals of Antony & Cleopatra, his mix is a masterclass in groove, blending shuffling percussion with an infectious yet subtle piano refrain to create a true retro gem. Isaac Tichauer and DJ Nibc take their remix down an equally retro, but altogether different path, channelling breakbeat influences in a ravey piano number. A surging piano riff drives the track through to an old school breakdown straight out of 1992, complete with melodic stabs, syncopated drums and of course the infectious vocal.
