This is the first release of an ongoing series featuring his own original remastered tracks accompanied by brand new remixes from some of the most talented names in contemporary club music, Mihai Popoviciu and Tigerskin.

First up is 'Soul Is Life', an overlooked gem from Eddie's catalogue that works a driving bassline through straight-ahead, gimmick free rhythms. It's augmented by snatches of spoken word, before breaking into lush chords half way through - perfect for late night and early morning dancefloors.

Next up, Romanian techno-house talent Mihai Popoviciu (Fear Of Flying, Diynamic, Highgrade), delivers a snappy rework. Mihai stretches the original's deep chords over sharp drum programming and an old-school Wiggle-style bassline, echoing the original in spirit but placing it in a whole new light. The vocal cuts in and out of the mix amid classy drops and haunting melodic flickers, making the cut as suited to intimate warm ups as it is to throbbing, peak time house floors.

Meanwhile on the flip, the original 'M'Baby' gets a sparkling new remaster. Teetering on just the right side of tough, it's built around a hypnotic groove, sweet organ chords and disembodied vocal snatches.

Rounding off the package is a remix from the mighty Tigerskin, (aka Dub Taylor aka Alex Krüger) one of the most respected producers in electronic music today, who brings his uniquely recognisable intricate drum programming to bear, flicking the original's chords back and forth over a masterfully arranged electronic house groove.

Essential deep house music for newcomers and old hands alike, 'Soul Is Life' and 'M'Baby' represent the sound of classic Eddie Richards at his finest.
