The release will be the second for young UK label CONSTRUCT, which has already worked with the likes of Swayzak and The Mole, and garnered the support of Craig Richards, Heidi, Tensnake, and Midland. Taking a step back from things over the last 12 months Hugo was able to focus genuinely on what he loves: making dance music. And his patience and unadulterated passion shows. >Penumbra< is impressive and understated. With a solid A side comprised of Barritts driving yet subtle house cuts, and classic remixes from Tuff City Kids (aka Lauer & Running Back label boss and Panorama Bars secret weapon, Gerd Janson) on the flip, the Penumbra EP will looks set to be a mainstay of DJ sets for many months to come.
