!! 200 copies - Vinyl Only !! Phonograph Music is pleased to release this fine debut EP by Greek duo Anthropous Anonymous. The project consists of two basic members, Andreas Dimitriadis and Demm. The roots of their sound are in House, Disco, Afro, Balearic and Jazz – often brought authentically to the music by diverse musicians and worldly vocalists during studio jams - influences which are heard well throughout this EP.
A1: This is our favorite track, Fazendo Arte meaning ‘Making Art’ in Portuguese. In this track Anthropous Anonymous really show their musical diversity and production skills with the Groovy baseline and glitchy Brazilian percussions providing the right vibe on the rhythms under the jazzy solo rhodes improvisation.
A2: Driving To Rabbit Planet; It’s a great tool based on analogue bass line jams with disco flavors on the flip side.
B1: June’s interlude; Birds, waves, space sounds made with classic Juno synth and a brilliant Balearic guitar riff create the most delicate summer interlude.
B2: Fazendo Arte (1993 mix); The EP finishes with the old school swinging groove edit of the original version to keep the dance floor locked in!
