This is the ninetieth release on the ongoing Resopal series. Furthermore it is Cavaan s first release on the label with arguably their most accomplished tracks to date. On the A side the guys spread their alternative vision of house music all over and roll out the tightly arranged Amphid Lampshade, characterized by impulsive beats, rhythmic synths and musical knowlodege. On the flipside, track Metamorphosis builds upon several layered synths, resulting in a floor effective dense catacomb of sound. Both tracks pay great attention to detail, are hard to pigeonhole and reach from modern house to far-out beat driven techno.
