After highlighting young and promising producers with Madben and Oniris, rave spirit with The Driver and Electric Rescue, Astropolis Records comes up early this year with a fourth EP released by two producers sharing the same passion for soulful dance music: Laurent Maldo and Jules Wells.
After a promising run for each and teaming up on KMS Records with a few classy and groovy releases, they’re delivering, Never Stop, a four-step journey between rapturous melodies and dancing odes in a Detroit inspired style, including a Madben’s remix.
The EP opens with the bubbling and exciting Never Stop and segues nicely on the haunting The Lighthouse, a genuine club anthem with an exquisite vocal. While the B-side gives way to the sensual and catchy melody of Run and Madben ends the maxi with a unrestrained reinterpretation of The Lighthouse, more techno, resolutely dancing and captivating.
