The original he serves up here is My Groove, a firmly rooted and solid bit of house music with classically inclined vocal chants by Gjeazon from Crazy like a Fox records, that recall Eddie Amador s biggest cut. Subtle details embellish the groove and make it all the more standout, and those deep looping basslines really pull you into the middle of the track, which also has airy hi hats and a sleazy sense of funk. The first remix comes from Afterparty founder, Rinse FM radio host, former Usher tour DJ, Southern Fried affiliate and Pioneer collaborator Doorly, who also runs his own Pigeon Hole label. His remix smooths out the kinks and simmers a grainy groove for seven shuffling, seductive minutes. Rolling effects and a big breakdown are sure to make for some fist pumping moments in the club. Last to remix is Play It Down producer and foremost Danish DJ Christian Nielsen. He does so with an increased sense of urgency and his track hits that bit harder as a result, all thanks to a dirty down low bassline that just rolls and rolls.
