Pocket Money returns for their third release and they are back with what could easily be their strongest output yet. Just hitting the ripe old age of one, and a couple of releases in, this label has found its stride nicely and starting to turn heads in the scene. Taking the spotlight for the Deep Basics EP is the producer Keepin Soul, who may only have a handful of releases to his name but puts himself in the spotlight with this deep and meaningful pocket money release. This is a beautifully dusty sounding record, it opens up doing exactly what it says on the tin Deep Basics and doing them well. This A1 is all about hypnotic grooves undulating against the drive of crisp, warm and exciting percussive grooves.
