Having dropped his debut release for the very first release on Cold Recordings back in 2014, Elmono returns to the imprint for a very welcome second outing with 4 alien cuts, blurring the definitions of house and techno in cosmic style.
'Welcome To The Octagon' opens up the EP, setting the pace with sci-fi vibrations, perfectly placed warps and percussive lazer grooves all hugging a 4/4 kick for an interstellar journey.
'Alpha Blob' follows on neatly with its shuffling hi-hats, broken beat patterns, moody pads, swooping subs, vocal snips and squelching sonics. Deep and dark, strange but bold.
'Salad Holder' takes a more melancholic shift, turbo-charged with thunder-heavy subbass, dubwise flashes, moody pads and 5th dimensional synth lines.
'The 4th Wall' closes up the EP with oscillations from a parallel universe, diving through wormholes to a snapping rhythm.
