“PRÉVISION #02” is the second compilation and third vinyl of forecast label, French record label originated in 2012. It gathers six house, electronica and techno tracks in varied styles for various artists. The original idea was to make artists exchanges ideas together to create tracks that would exactly define each one’s identity. While Cheaper Shepherd’s “Weasels” show again their shiny and catchy vintage house, Romain Play explores several music genders through a train trip across jazz, psychedelic rock and house. The new comer Roman S releases his first track ever, showing his talent for groove and minimal house. On the B-side, D°C, Breilitz and Sir Squi explore three kinds of techno. First track of this side, “Erebus” shows a Kompakt-like new wave but club-oriented techno. “Raw Interference” could without any doubt be played at Berghain. Last track, “(crashed)” is on the psychedelic slope of techno. It uses a sitar, to ends the compilation on a shinier note.
