Debut Lp offering from London rap group Jungle Brown. Having featured on SBTV with their Ep ‘Take One’, this Lp builds on a strong foundation. Sample heavy, with strong saxophone performances from Ayo Odia, the instrumentation is rich and thick in texture. Lyrically the group go from light and playful, to deep and introspective with great subtlety. Keep it Movin (a1) is a light reflection of the group moving from Bournemouth to London, while ‘In the City’ (b1) is a gritty anthem detailing the arrival to the city. Having a strong performance record behind them as well, the group’s reach is good, both in the UK and abroad.
