With its tenth DMT release, Philippe Petit drops Energovill, a big room techno bomb driven by a repetitive synth pad and a dreamy distorted saxophone line that will leave nobody indifferent. Philippe then strips down the track even more to deliver a dub oriented, beat-heavy version of the track. On the other side, UBX127, from the Figure stable, is on remix duties: he takes the key elements from Philippe s versions and turns the title track into an unforgiving minimal techno attack. Philippe closes the EP and reworks Energovill once again, this time into a melodic, atmospheric and dreamy beatless version.
