The electronic based pop group, Shari Vari, founded by Helena Ratka and Sophia Kennedy, is about to release its first EP, Life Should Be a Holiday, of 5 pieces produced and recorded by the duo under broke and alcoholic circumstances. Each piece deals with the traditional forms of song writing by ignoring them – the rules and structures. Combining psychedelic lyrics and chords with dark electronic sounds, the beats are weird and stubborn: a teenage crush on a white cat while drowning in a pool. You’ll never want to go to work again: too many psychos in one streetcar are just too hard to handle on an empty stomach. Look forward to plunge into the world of Shari Vari, so hit the booze and run! (to the concert)
