Opener 'Close Your Eyes (And Feel)' has been bothering the net for a good year now and finally sees a release on wax. Scattered breaks, chopped vocals and those classic yearning pads collide and shatter into a fine mist of melancholia. Next up is ‘Broken (And Out Of Sync)’, a hefty rumbling breakbeat base punctured by heavily staccato’d acid lines and rapid analogue arpeggiators. A soaring, uplifting night sky flight.
Shifting into life on the B-side is When Two Souls Reach. A heavy soul search, wandering down into the depths, alongside the setting sun. A warm, enveloping love letter cast down from the clouds in beams of yellow and orange tinted light. Then the final leg, the thundering drum-scorched ‘Stream Of Consciousness’. Evolving pad lines that meander along the edge of sanity, twinkling percussive synths and swung 909’s and 808’s. Soft-hued melodies and endlessly hazy atmospherics for the close.
