St. Petersburg resident Kuzma Palkin is a busy guy, having recorded music in the past as Audiocad, Cylindro, Plattformer and many more. Under his own name hes contributed to Russia s respected Gost Zvuk label, and now he signs up to the excellent Ukranian outpost Wicked Bass to drop some hypnotic and delightfully dusky club tracks to inject a little spice into a minimal scenario. The release kicks off with Windy Bass, which shares a little rugged spirit with STLs sonic style and love of loose swing, before diving down into the misty waters of Fordism 0205. Exalted Flow has a more detailed arrangement that pushes extra detail, sequence wobbles and FX tweaks onto the drums to make for a dynamic rhythm workout. Krisis Ekktro completes the set with a blown out electro throwdown that will be gold dust to any self-respecting machine funk deviant.
