Ray Mono is one of the fastest rising names in the game and now he keeps the pressure on with another vital EP, this time on Darius Syrossian’s essential Moxy Muzik. It features two of his powerful grooves and kick starts what is set to be a huge year for the artist, while remixers Seb Zito and Brandub complete a fine package.

Syrossian has long been a supporter of Mono, who is someone with a meticulous sound in the studio and plenty of high profile releases behind him on the likes of No Fit State, Pleasure Zone and WHAT NXT? His warm bass, subtle percussion and tripped out grooves are inspired by years as a resident and promoter of legendary Leeds party Mono_Cult and his ever evolving sound comes correct once more here as he continues to get booked around Europe at all the key clubs.

Excellent opener Initiated is a driving track with a physical impact from the well programmed drums and knotted bass. Esperanza is then a more playful anthem in the making, with classic vocal samples over the slick and sci-fi beats. The slippery metallic perc and icy drums all get deep under your skin and the well treated vocals are set to make huge impact in the sun this summer.

Celebrated Fuse associate Seb Zito then remixes with his stylish dubbed out grooves, taught bass twangs and punchy drum work, and Brandub’s Space Mix quickens things up with razor sharp kick drums and bobbling bass certain to lock in the dancers.

Once again then Ray Mono pushes forwards here with another of his devastating new EPs.
