The incredible DeFeKT (aka Matthew Flanagan) has been a tireless advocate of true electro and techno over the last number of years, steadily honing his hardware based sound that has earned him admirers all through the electronic music community. DeFeKT released a 8 track mini album in 2010 which gained great support from Dave Clarke. Since then a slew of 12" Eps and remix's have emerged under the DeFeKT and ESS guise on labels like Combat recordings, Solar One Music, AC Records, Cultivated electronics, shameless toady, Signal Code,Komisch and Electronic Explorations to name a few.
