Surging Italian DJ and producer Dimmish debuts on LOCUS as he drops his ‘Planet Zero’ EP.
An emerging name within both house and more minimal territories, touching down on labels such as No Art, Solid Grooves, AVOTRE, Deeperfect and Moscow Records, Italian DJ and producer Dimmish continues to emerge and grow as one of the scene’s most heavily tipped rising artists of recent years. Having received heavy support from FUSE boss Enzo Siragusa amongst a host of leading names, he now readies his first EP on LOCUS as he delivers his four-track ‘Planet Zero’ EP on the label to open March.
Opening the EP in style, title cut ‘Planet Zero’ welcomes the long-awaited arrival of one of the Italians most requested productions to date as slinking hats and chunky bass grooves meet subtle vocals and the tracks unmistakable lead line. Up next, ‘Hello Panic’ introduces skittering electronics and laser sharp drum shots, whilst ‘Stellar’ ups the energy as sweeping synths, icy hats and rumbling low ends combine. Shaping up proceedings, ‘Espresso’ sees things stripped back to reveal a snaking, groove-heavy closing production perfect for late-nights and early-hours alike.
