SUWI is an instrumental trio emerging from the creative scene of Ghent (Belgium). The title of this debut album is a playful nod to the online platform on which the three gentlemen take French lessons.
Inspired by the cozy French accent and joie de vivre, they composed the repertoire of 'French With Simona' and incorporated French titles into their oeuvre: Inge mon Ange, Mal Ogeu, Ricard. Musically, they keep following the path they started with their first self-titled EP: atmospheric melodies and grooves form the backbone of their instrumental feel-good music. Sweet backing vocals finish it all off.
No sudden surprises, no unexpected turns, no musical explosions, but a continuum of good grooves that slowly but surely take the listener into a hypnotic trance.
