created by the musical partnership of maurizio vitiello and gianni pellecchia, bauns is the primary vehicle for the duos work. having worked separately for many years, cutting their teeth on the italian techno circuit, the pair came together in 2007 to form the label as a response to the desire to have complete creative control of their work.

twisted minimal techno mood for bauns 05. this is the time of maurizio vitiello, who wants to explore the partenopean roots with the bouncing vibes of tira e molla. maurizio is rapidly gaining a reputation for his particular style. raining has the ability to move around vibrant percussions, giving a tricky housy sensation. and finally the begin of a new direction for bauns. a remix of tira e molla by one of the hottest producers in the scene of minimal techno music: the big talent tim xavier. of course he needs no introduction. his interpretation of maurizios tira e molla shows tim way to capture fragments animating them with special journeys. tim uses airy percussions, loud bass and lots of special effects to drive the listener away. another fantastic release for bauns. check it out!

supported by dubfire, davide squillace, rino cerrone, mark henning, mihalis safras. naples based artist gianni pellecchia, well known for his releases on loose or minisketch, with his first solo ep on bauns music onda tape has a deep, liquid atmospheric feel. the lead bass rotor and the easy rhythmical line of muler creates a sonoric winding which culminates when a darkness laugh sample breaks off the pause to restart shaking heads. powerful! allergico is a well done example of drum embedding and sound de/construction. a funky techno bay with coloured melodic reefs! mnemonic has an excellent hypnotic minimal groovin tech style, organic beats meets mindsweeping melodies, and the dark laugh crosses the reef again. a pure dope for your escaping from chaos. thats onda tape!
