Although hailing from Milan - one of the fashion capitals of
the world - Emmanuel has gained his reputation through
music, not the catwalk. Tel Aviv, Israel based label Be As
One Imprint released his first two 12”’s that subsequently
exposed this young talent to the world. Kudos to Shlomi
and the crew, but now it is time for Emmanuel to spread
his wings and share his techniques with another label
focused on releasing quality music: Get Digital. ‘Show
Time’ is definitely going to show the club what time it is.
Blasting right on the scene with heavily swung skittering
beats, which make up for what they lack in beef with
rhythm. Percussion ebbing and flowing as percussive
elements drop out, then suddenly reappear, rotating
harmoniously. A trippy affect and the perfect preface to a
thunderous and suspenseful drop that introduces the
hypnotic ramblings of a lonely mans sitar. All the
ingredients are here and they are mixed just right.
