The A-side offers the title track "material things". Tom Dicicco knows how to create a spheric and hypnotic tention, with a rollin' groove, which is finally broken up by an intensive and increasing sound building, which never occurs simple.

The flip-side starts with a remix of Tom's "material things" by Patrick Graeser, based in Berlin. Patrick takes a constant groove, carried by balanced chords, into his sound shaker and developes a floating and growing basic sound cocktail.

The second track of the B-Side is "empire", which gives an easy feeling and appears warm and harmonic. A neverending sound stream keeping up the dub techno.
