oslo is happy to welcome new artist federico lijtmaer to the family with his wonderful ep impermanencia. inpermanencia on the a-side is a superb deep house track with the right kind of funkyness for the cool. federico combines smooth bass with shifty drums and classy synth action. this track will conjure a smile on your face and we are happy as hell to be able to release this little gem. unselfish on the b-side is as funky as its big brother on the flip-side. a throwback to bygone times in a way, if you consider labels as mosaic or trelik. however, federico definitely succeeded in terms of a modern interpretation. the inclined listener will recognize his musical roots anyway.

2014 has been a slow year for sequencias in terms of releases. most of our energy has been spent towards the development of different projects, like our new webstore, that has become an outlet for us to share some of the records that influence the way we do things. so, with the wax offering slowing to a mere trickle, who better to entrust with our sole release for the rest of the calendar year? dcantu, of course. cantus electro-heavy sound is fleshed out here and while still lean enough for dance floors, it makes bolder moves into atmospheric and melodic territory.

panel trax has grown international due to the producers and the trax being played abroad. the label is releasing trax in the spectrum of techno, acid, minimal, detroit, ambient and dub. it is into oldschool a new things as well but doesnt want to follow the actual trends. it just has a focus on atmosphere and sounding.

mark henning returns to soma with yet more jacked up machine funk in titan. mark has firmly established him self within the soma mainstays and continues to further his sound on the label. this latest ep sees him take to the street with two energetic drum workouts laden with his unique flavour.

good morning children, welcome to school ! what might be known from ipoly mate 003, got a very different context here in the title track. heavy club food, flavoured by alec troniqs love for the energy of the early 90s. the chain was originally induced by old man trouble and then impulsively got the blues by alec troniq. it has a special place in their hearts and continues alec s series of crossovercollaborations in 2014.

it has been over a year since the last schmorgasbord release dropped, which saw al tourettes (better known now as second storey) rubbing up against paradroid in a mix up of electro, techno and electronica styles. now the label returns with bass clef and frak, who were asked to each commit a half-finished sketch of a track to tape, exchange tapes and finish off each others tracks. bass clef has been a strong solo force on the electronic music scene since he first emerged in the wider bass music field in 2006, and has since released on idle hands, punch drunk, pan and public information as well as running his own magic + dreams imprint. swedish trio frak have been releasing since their debut album in 1987 when they were thirteen years old. the swedish trio have been active for most of that time, running borft records and releasing a huge amount of music as well as performing live. in recent years they have enjoyed more recognition with releases on kontra musik, digitalis and sex tags mania. schmorgasbord launched in 2011 with a release that saw appleblim and october collaborating for the first time. it was followed up by a release from s-max and spatial.

fracture is a new label which aims to release quality music on a medium we care about. this is why we chose to work with matt colton from alchemy mastering, and also why we decided to put only one track per side of a 180 gram vinyl. after a first ep earlier this year by berlin s i/y, this second release features signalweiss, one of the alias of prolific and talented italian artist dario tronchin (also known as chevel), here supported by a remix of milton bradley.the past years have seen dario exploring many directions, from intelligent dancefloor tracks to surprising housy & technoesque pieces. artificial is another occurrence of him blurring the lines between different genres, dreamy and abstract, it successfully creates a refreshing and unique atmosphere. milton bradley skillfully brings artificial completely into the realms of techno, keeping the original s track attention to space and melody, the track in his hands turns into a mental and punishing dancefloor bomb.

a true surprise best seller in our 2014 release schedule, vermonts eponymous full-length debut also introduced the public to an astonishingly different musical side of the projects founders marcus worgull and danilo plessow (of motor city drum ensemble fame). an album worth of adventurous jam sessions and sleek synth soundscapes, it rather drew from sonic curiosity and the spirit of informal collaboration than the laser like focus of the club tunes both producers have become known for

we are happy to announce that we are back with our 4th sol asylum instalment >let it go< this time from label founder julie marghilano. the creation process was an inner journey to find once again her creative spirit and just let it go. the final result is a three-track ep created with live-recorded instrumentation and features vocals by the talented jazz singer ilhem khodja.

its the yeark trax from gunma japan. mazar is an impressice code synth sound with a female voice synth mixed in. durga mata is future acid sound. this mazar remix is by tevo howard, chicagos latest house music expert. chemdog gives a dubby impressions, and maintains the expression using a filter. a track that gives us the feeling that something has begun.
